@joehillsthrillsEsto es parte de lo último que he estado trabajando. Aún es un work in progress pero esta es básicamente la forma final.
Hace unos días un cantante me comentaba que, para él, el intérprete debía de sentir la canción al momento de cantarla, de lo contrario el resultado sería mediocre y poco digno. La verdad es que no estoy del todo de acuerdo y me dieron ganas de decirle que limitar la expresividad y/o el valor de un acto artístico a su emotividad es limitar también su espectro discursivo.
Dicho esto, esta pieza, “More More”, no tiene su origen en emoción alguna. Es una idea, nada más. Una idea que se expresó en sonidos más o menos organizados. Y no creo que esté tan mal.

When did living excessively become the norm in our culture? When did we decide that more is better but better is never enough? When did social media, fancy cars, and expensive clothing take priority over family, friends and the things we’re passionate about? Somewhere along the way our society has become more focused on attaining fleeting sources of gratification rather than working towards establishing true, lasting joy.
And that needs to change.
